Saeco Magic Comfort Plus

I liked the look of this machine in spite of it largish size. Its simple to set up and use requiring minimal cleaning. The minimal cleaning is a great bonus. This is helped by no coffee ground mess to clean up anymore! I also like the fact that I can program it to turn off from 30 minutes to 12 hours. From a cold machine to ready to brew is around 90 seconds.

Does it produce great coffee? The coffee this macghine produces is great tasing cafe quality espresso. The espresso's have a rich flavor with a thick, full crema. I also use fresh coffee beans. And I also follow the manufactures recommend schedule for de-scaling. I didn't do this for a little while and noticed the quality of the coffee was falling away. I de-scaled and everything was great again. I now follow the de-scaling recommendations.

Why this machine is good? Pour in beans and water, then push a button, out comes perfect espresso. And it only takes a couple of minutes.

What I would like to change? Some of the dial and controls of this machines have a cheap feel to them. They work fine, but give the impression of being ready to break if handled to hastily.

Final words? The Saeco Magic Comfort Plus is a great machine that makes excellent quality coffee. I would recommend this machine.
